James Herman Waybright -2003 Obituary
James Herman Waybright, 73, of Poplar Street, Hopewell, Va., died Friday, July 11, 2003, in Hopewell Health Care Center.
He was born in Whitmer and had been a resident of the Tri-City area since 1981.
Mr. Waybright was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Elkins. He was a retired sergeant from the U.S. Army, having served during both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.
He was the son of the late Thadeus and Alpha Elza Waybright.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Nell Sutton Waybright of Hopewell, Va.; two brothers, Harvey Waybright of Washington State, and Phil Waybright of Missouri.
Graveside services were held in Little Arlington Cemetery at Elkins today at 10 a.m. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home in Hopewell, Va.
