Raymond Junior Tenney 1934-2007 Obituary
Raymond Junior Tenney, 73, of Akron, Ohio, passed away on July 10, 2007 at Akron Hospice of Visiting Nurses Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born in Upshur County on May 1, 1934, son of he late Loman Tenney and Ethel (Dean) Tenney.
On May 30, 1952, he married Eloise (Barnett) Tenney Stutler, who survives of Weston.
Also surviving are two sons, Ronald Junior Tenney and wife Terrilyn and Daniel Lee Tenney and wife Carolyn, all of Weston, and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Donald Ray and Randall Jay Tenney, two sisters and four brothers.
At Mr. Tenney’s request, his body was cremated.
A memorial service was held in Akron, Ohio on July 24, 2007 at the First Presbyterian Church, with Chaplain Sam Oliver of Hospice officiating. Graveside services were held at the Heavner Cemetery of Buckhannon with Herb Bean in charge.
The Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home of Weston and the Adams Mason Crematory of Akron were in charge of arrangements.
