Eugene J. Daniels 1995-2003 Obituary
Eugene James “E.J.” Daniels, 8, of Broadway, Va., died Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at his home.
He was born March 2, 1995, in Harrisonburg, Va., a son of Jim and Kelly Daniels of Broadway, Va.
He was a second-grade student at Lacey Springs Elementary School and a member of Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren in New Market, Va.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one sister, Angel Lynn Daniels of Broadway, Va.; one brother, Jesse Lewis Daniels of Sundance Forest; his paternal grandparents, Mike and Judy Painter of Timberville, Va.; his maternal grandparents, Eugene and Irene Ferrell of Mill Creek; and numerous aunts, uncles, and very special cousins, whom he loved very much.
He also leaves behind many special friends from his school and church.
He was a well-liked student and friend to many. And to all who knew him, they grew strength in seeing his warm bright smile everyday. His energy, intelligence and strength were a true blessing and inspiration to the many lives he touched.
E.J. — a special little boy who will be truly missed by many.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg, Va., conducted by the Rev. Shelvie Mantz.
Burial will follow in the Bethel Church Cemetery in Maryland. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
