Mary DeHaven 1921-2003 Obituary
Mary Grace Bailor DeHaven, 81, of Durbin, departed this life Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at her daughter’s house in Belington after an extended illness.
Mrs. DeHaven was born Nov. 11, 1921, the daughter of the late Calvin and Josie Virginia Simmons Bailor.
She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Durbin.
She was married to Gilbert F. DeHaven, who preceded her in death in 1991.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Patricia Ann DeHaven; one son, Donald E. DeHaven; four sisters, Ruth Bailor, Florence DeHaven, Ernestine Bailor and Etta Mae Barb; and three brothers, Bill, Carl and Robert Bailor.
Surviving are two daughters, Yvonne “Bonnie” Gray and husband, Bob of Durbin, and Sherry E. Kelley and husband, Bob, of Belington; one son, David DeHaven and wife, Trish, of Durbin; two sisters, Janet Bailor of Durbin and Gladys Martin of Mill Creek; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Wallace & Wallace Funeral Home in Arbovale.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Goodsell Cemetery.
The Rev. David Rittenhouse will officiate and interment will follow.
