John W. Delauder 1965-2003 Obituary
John Wade Delauder, 38, of Stringtown Road, Route 2, Belington, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, at his home, following an extended illness.
He was born Jan. 24, 1965, at Elkins, a son of Ruby I. Riffle Delauder, who survives at Belington, and the late Rev. Nelson T. Delauder.
On Oct. 6, 1984, he married the former Brenda Ann Watson, who survives at Stringtown Road, Belington.
Also surviving are two daughters, Lesley Delauder and Amber Delauder, both at home; one son, Dustin Delauder, at home; two brothers, Teddie and wife, Sheila Delauder, and Ronnie and wife, Shirley Delauder, all of Belington; two sisters, Sandra Sue Weaver, Belington, Lisa and husband, John Starkey, Junior; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Delauder was a certified nurses aide.
He was a farmer and a former employee of the Elkins Regional Convalescent Center.
He was a member of the Gospel Light Tabernacle and was an avid gardener.
Friends may call at Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel in Belington from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday when funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. A.H. Belt officiating.
Interment will follow in the Trinity Cemetery. Schoonover-
