Justin D. DeWalt Sr. 1919-2003 Obituary
Justin Daniel DeWalt Sr., 84, of Dryfork, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at his residence.
He was born Feb. 28, 1919, in Kitzmiller, Md., a son of the late David Rhyn and Sara Jane Nelson DeWalt.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elsie Margaret Luzier and his second wife, Tacie Hedrick.
He is survived by one son, Gary DeWalt of Waldorf, Md.; one daughter, Sharon Jean Caltrider, Dryfork; one half brother, Tommy Cousin; one sister, Mary Fin, of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by one son, one brother and four sisters.
Mr. DeWalt was a retired coal miner and member of the Mt. Top Hunting Club.
Friends will be received at Hinkle Funeral Home today from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at the funeral home chapel Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David Crapnell officiating.
Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.
