Bernard A. Freeman 1939-2003 Obituary
Bernard Allen “Little John” Freeman, 64, a resident of Junior, departed this life at 4:40 a.m. Wednesday, March 5, 2003, in the Louis A. Johnson Medical Center in Clarksburg. He had been in failing health for quite sometime.
He was born Feb. 13, 1939, in Randolph County, the son of Bernard Earl “Johnny” Freeman of Junior and the late Chlora Estaline Row Freeman.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three brothers, Joel Freeman and wife, Tammy, and Owen “Mickey” Freeman and wife, Paula, all of Junior, and Richard Freeman and wife, Cindy, of Penn, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Freeman attended the schools of Barbour and Randolph counties, was currently disabled, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and attended the Weaver Church of the Nazarene.
Friends will be received at the Talbott Funeral Home in Belington from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and on Friday until 1 p.m., the funeral hour when services will be conducted from the funeral home parlor. The Rev. Doyle N. Rider will officiate. Interment will follow in the Fraternal Cemetery at Belington where the presentation of the American flag will be conduced by American Legion Post 44 of Philippi. The Talbott Funeral Home of Belington is in charge of the arrangements for Bernard Allen “Little John” Freeman.
