Russell Fields “Buddy” Riley 1966-2022 Obituary
Russell Fields “Buddy” Riley, age 56, of Crawford, WV, died Monday, March 21, 2022, at the United Hospital Center in Bridgeport.
He was born on March 14, 1966, in Buckhannon, a son of the late Russell “Bud” Riley and Betty Springer Riley, who survives.
On April 13, 1991, he was united in marriage to Kitty Groves, who survives. In addition to his mother and wife, he is also survived by three sons: Daniel, Rodney, and Dwayne Riley, all of Crawford; two grandchildren: Isaac and Rynlee Riley; two sisters: Bobby Jo and husband Nelson Brown of Crawford and Betty Jo and husband James Nolan of Crawford; one brother Larry Riley and wife Angie of French Creek; and several nieces and nephews.
Buddy loved his job as a truck driver.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM—the funeral hour, with Pastor David Jessie officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bennett Cemetery at Kanawha Head.
