W. Faye Arbogast Salisbury 1941-2022 Obituary
W. Faye Arbogast Salisbury, 80, a resident of Elkins Manor, passed from this life, Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at her residence. She had been in declining health, but death was unexpected.
Faye was born on Sunday, July 6, 1941, in Arthurdale, a daughter of the late Clarence Arbogast and Pearl Johnson. She lived in Arthurdale until the time she was 10. On July 26, 1958, in Monterey VA, she married James Salisbury, who preceded her in death on April 25, 2021.
Left to cherish her memory are three children, Sandra Wratchford, and Daniel Salisbury of Elkins Manor, and Tim Salisbury of Huttonsville, six grandchildren, BJ DeMotto, David McCollam, TJ, Amanda, and Daniel and David Salisbury, four great grandchildren, Tyhler Gage McCollam, Sophie DeMotto, Trenton Marino, and Keaton Salisbury.
Preceding her in death besides her parents and husband, were one son, Ronald Keith Salisbury, and two sisters, Eloise Scheitlin and Helen Watkins.
Faye was one of Jehovah’s Witness and was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Elkins. She was a devoted mother, enjoyed preaching in the ministry, and loved her family greatly. Faye also knew no stranger, enjoyed Yahtzee, watching westerns, spending time with her grandchildren, and her brothers and sisters from the Kingdom Hall.
