Rose M. Duda -2003 Obituary
Rose M. Duda, of Elkins, formerly of Alloy area, died Friday, Jan. 3, 2003, a day before her 89th birthday, after a long illness.
During the past year, she was a resident of the Broaddus Long Term Care facility at Philippi.
She was a member of St. Brendan Catholic Church of Elkins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, William W. Duda, on Jan. 5, 1990.
Survivors include a son, Raymond of Mt. Dora, Fla.; three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Donna of Falls View, William and Sharon of Baldwin, Md., James and Monica of Olney, Md.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Patrick Home of Elkins; one brother, Stanley Kopinski of Warren, Mich.; and one brother-in-law, John P. Duda of Oak Hill. In addition, there are nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peter and St. Paul Catholic Church, Oak Hill, with the Rev. John McDonough officiating.
