Irene M. Embeck 1922-2003 Obituary
Irene Mary Judy Embeck, 81, a resident of 4 Bell St., Elkins, and of Bemis, departed this life Thursday afternoon, June 5, 2003, at Nella’s Nursing Home. She had been in declining health for the past year.
She was born Saturday, Feb. 11, 1922, at Randolph County, a daughter of the late William John Judy and Theresa C. Essex Judy.
he was married to Carl W. Embeck, who survives at Nella’s Nursing Home. They had celebrated 54 years of marriage.
Also surviving are one adopted son, Robert Embeck; one brother, Glen Judy; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald Carl Embeck; seven brothers, Carl, Ernie, Herschel, Jim, Raymond, Gerald and Charlie Embeck; and one sister, Hazel Harney.
She was a homemaker.
The family will receive friends at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home Monday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the funeral hour. The Rev. A.H. Belt will officiate and interment will follow at Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
