Rosa Klee Eye 1908-2003 Obituary
Rosa Klee Eye, 95, of Hacker Valley, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 21, 2003, at Wooster Community Hospital in Ohio. Mrs. Eye resided with her sister in Smithville, Ohio, for the last two months.
Rosa was born Jan. 4, 1908 near Hacker Valley. She lived most of her life at the hilltop farm near Holly River State Park.
She was the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna Heller Klee.
In 1954, she married Ira Eye, who is deceased.
Rosa was employed at the Hub Store in Webster Springs, was restaurant manager at Holly River State Park and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her sister, Mrs. Charles (Thelma) Lee of Smithville, Ohio; two brothers, Emil and Karl Klee, both of Webster Springs; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. Jessie (Lena) Malcomb, Mrs. Upton (Ida) Echard and Mrs. Ralph (Elsie) Burky; and one brother, John William Klee.
Mrs. Eye was a Protestant by faith.
Friends may call at the Dodd & Reed Funeral Home in Webster Springs on Friday from noon until 2 p.m., the funeral hour. The Rev. Don Dugas of Ohio will officiate. Burial will follow at the Hacker Valley Cemetery in Hacker Valley.
