Kenneth Neil Goff, 66, of Salt Lick Road, Route 1, Montrose, died Sunday morning, Aug. 31, 2003, in the Davis Memorial Hospital following an unexpected illness.

He was born June 17, 1937, in Coalton, the son of the late Everett and Bertha Rowan Goff.

Surviving are three sons, Joe Goff and wife, Debbie, of Buckhannon, Dave Goff and wife, Darla, and Nikki Goff and wife, Sheila, all of Belington; three daughters, Judy Booth and husband, Terry, of Philippi, Jeana White and husband, Wayne, of Belington and Anna Graham and husband, Jeff, of Elkins; two brothers, Lewis Earl Goff of Ellamore and Clyde Goff of Vienna, Ohio; one sister, Marie Temple of Elyria, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Chad Booth of Moatsville, Amanda Bennington and Jonathan Goff, both of Buckhannon, Natasha White of Belington, Ryan Booth of Philippi, Kelsey Auvil of Elkins and Mikala Goff of Belington; four great-grandchildren, Miya Goff, Alicia and Damien Bennington, all of Buckhannon, and Ashley Booth of Moatsville; his former wife, Carmen Kittle of Elkins; and several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jimmy Goff, Robert Goff and Sterling Goff.

Mr. Goff was a retired coal miner. He was a member of the United Mine Workers of America District 31 and Laurel Mountain Post 410 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Belington.

Friends may call at the Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel in Belington from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday, when funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home chapel. The Rev. Doyle N. Rider will officiate and interment will follow in the St. Vincent’s Cemetery at Kingsville. The Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
