Charles Richard “Chick” Harper Obituary
Charles Richard “Chick” Harper, 75, of Seneca Rocks, died March 7, at his home with his family present.
Born Dec. 2, 1927, in Riverton, he was the son of the late Frank and Nola (White) Harper.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Billie Gale Harper, whom he married Dec. 2, 1950; one daughter, Patricia Cooper and her husband, Freddie, of Seneca Rocks; one son, Richard Harper and his wife, Elizabeth, of Seneca Rocks; two sisters, Ramona Hedrick of Ohio and Virgie Harper of Franklin; three grandchildren, Rodney Cooper and his wife, Angie, Sheena Harper and Felicia Harper, all of Seneca Rocks; and three great-grandchildren, Logan, Luke and Trey Cooper.
There was a private family funeral service at the Schaeffer Funeral Home chapel, Petersburg, and private military graveside service at South Branch Memorial Gardens, Petersburg, by the combined veteran organizations of Grant County.
