Hallie E. Harper 1923-2003 Obituary
Hallie E. Harper, 80, of Hubbard, Ohio, died Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2003, at Northside Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 21, 1923, in Whitmer, the daughter of late Isaac and Floda Nelson Thompson. She has been a Hubbard resident since 1955.
Mrs. Harper was a homemaker, an active member of the Coalburg United Methodist Church and enjoyed ceramics and reading.
Her husband, Orville W. Harper, whom she married in October 1942, died in June 1998.
She leaves two sons, Larry J. Harper and wife, Brenda, and William I. Harper and wife, Deborah, all of Hubbard; one daughter, Helen Kay Rasile and husband, William, of Longview, Texas; one sister, Edith Vandevander of Kerens; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Orville Harper Jr.; six brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, Ohio. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
