Ray Harris 1943-2003 Obituary
Ray Harris, 59, of Route 4, Box 591A, Buckhannon, died Thursday, Jan. 23, 2003, at his home.
He was born May 26, 1943, at Kesling Mill, a son of the late Francis and Dorothy Winans Harris.
On Aug. 18, 1962, he married Frances Lorraine Smith Harris, who preceded him in death on Sept. 14, 2001.
Surviving are two sons, Bryan Harris and Carrol Harris, both of Buckhannon; one daughter, Rosalee Carr, Buckhannon; three brothers, Larry Harris, Morgantown, and Steve Harris and Greg Harris, both of Buckhannon; one sister, Donna Sue Smith, Buckhannon; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Barbara Waybright.
He was a bricklayer and attended Kesling United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be at Kesling Cemetery in Kesling Mill Sunday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Robert Poling officiating. Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
