Curtis Matthew Harsh, 19, a resident of 1903 Shiloh Court, Fayetteville, N.C., passed away July 18, 2003, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Born July 5, 1984, at Camp Lejeune, N.C., he was the son of Robert L. Harsh and Carrie L. Thorpe Harsh, both of Fayetteville, N.C.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harsh is survived by a brother, Jacob Harsh of Fayetteville, N.C.; maternal grandparents, Raymond and Joyce Thorpe of Buckhannon; paternal grandparents, Joyce and Dan Brown of Buckhannon; paternal great-grandparents, Morris and Kathleen Harsh of Buckhannon; and maternal great-grandparent, Violet Lucas of Freeport, Pa.
Mr. Harsh was a student and attended the Arran Lakes Baptist Church.
Friends will be received today from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home in Buckhannon. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Steele presiding. Burial will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Belington. From 21 Jul 2003.
