Daisy Mae Haslacker 1916-2003 Obituary
Daisy Mae Herring Haslacker, 86, Maysville, W.Va., died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2003, at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, W.Va.
Mrs. Haslacker was born Dec. 13, 1916, in Crawford, Ga., and was the daughter of the late William Herring and Mildred Cooper Herring.
She was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and the American Baptist Women’s Ministries.
Her husband of 65 years, Edward Brooks Haslacker, survives.
Also surviving are a son, Robert Haslacker of Maysville, W.Va.; five daughters, Jacqueline Rumbaugh Keener, Sandra Kaye Jones and Edna Irene Ross, all of Thomasville, N.C., Anna Lee Chutes of Lorain, Ohio, and Shirley Louise Sites of Maysville, W.Va.; a brother, Richard Herring of Tampa, Fla., 17 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
The Revs. Paul Dye, Paul Donaldson and Lynn Rohrbaugh will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. Saturday at Harmony Baptist Church in Maysville, W.Va. Burial will be in the South Branch Memorial Gardens in Petersburg, W.Va.
