Lisa Kay Hawkins 1957-2003 Obituary
Lisa Kay Hawkins, 46, of Arnold, Md., died Sunday, Oct. 5, 2003, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Baltimore, Md., the same day.
She was born July 25, 1957, at Lake Charles, La., the daughter of John Gaspard, who survives at Lake Charles, and Nell David Gaspard, who survives at Corpus Christi, Texas.
Also surviving are her husband, James Kent Hawkins; one son, Bruce Keith Hawkins, U.S. Navy, of Fort Meade, Md.; one brother, Robert Gaspard of Corpus Christi, Texas; one grandchild; and her grandfather, Robert E. Hymes of Junior.
Mrs. Hawkins was a 1974 honor graduate of Woodbridge (Va.) High School. She worked for the 7-Eleven Corp. for 26 years, most recently as a field consultant.
She enjoyed gardening and fund-raising activities for the Children’s Learn to Read Program.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Hymes-Church of the Brethren Cemetery at Junior at 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. F.L. “Wink” McQuain officiating. The Schoonover-Stemple Funeral Chapel is entrusted with arrangements.
