Ronald L. Heck Sr. 1938-2003 Obituary
Ronald Lee Heck Sr., 64, of Rincon, Ga., died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2003, at his residence.
He was a native of Pickens and a retired Millwright at Union Camp and a member of North Salem Baptist Church.
Survivors include, Nancy Zipperer Heck of Rincon, Ga.; two sons, Ronald Lee Heck Jr. of Guyton, Ga., and Randall Allen Heck of Rincon, Ga.; one daughter, Diane Lynn Heck Smith of Statesboro, Ga.; parents, Lee and Hesther Heck of Buckhannon; two brothers, Elmer D. Heck of Buckhannon, and William R. Heck of Clarksburg; one sister, Mary Shifman of Maine; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Thomas C. Strickland & Sons Funeral Homes, Effingham Chapel, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today at North Salem Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Remembrances may be given to Hospice Savannah Inc., PO Box 13190, Savannah, Ga.
