Mary Jane (Scott) Shiflett 1913-1999 Obituary
Mary Jane (Scott) Shiflett, 86, of Ravenna, died Wednesday at her home, following a period of declining health.
Born June 7, 1913, in Mill Creek, W. Va., she was the daughter of Noah and Sarah (Moyer) Scott.
Survivors include sons, Titus (Dolores) of Ravenna, Arnold (Jeannie) of Cuyahoga Falls, Junior of Ravenna; daughters, Edna Marie of Ravenna and Sheryl of Cuyahoga Falls; 16 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray, in 1995; son, Conley, in 1994; daughter, Jewel; three grandchildren; brothers, Walter, Leland, and Ralph Scott, and Vernon Moyer; sisters, Blanche Fancher, Edna Tenney, and Ethel Currence.
Friends will be received TODAY from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wood-Kortright Funeral Home (Ravenna Chapel). Services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m., with Rev. Don Singleton officiating.
