If you can carve wood, you can carve bone and horns
Horns from beef might be a little harder to get today, if you live in a location where deer and elk hunting is popular, you can probably find some
Bones are somewhat easy to to get, but getting big bones might be a little harder, most bones from commercial slaughter houses are reused as feed, but there are a lot of local butcher shops that should have bones available, but they will probably cost a little money
High end restaurants might be source of supply for bones, although it might be difficult
Ham bones from your holiday ham is also a good source of large bones
They are messy to deal with to get them cleaned up enough to use, but I recommend you try this method at least once
