Mary Jane Hamrick Williams 1932-2018 Obituary
Mary Jane Williams, age 85 years, a resident of Wheeling, WV passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Cumberland Point in St. Clairsville, OH. She was born June 22, 1932 at Webster Springs, WV, a daughter of the late Arthur F. and Mary Coakley Hamrick. She was married to Odie Williams who preceded her in death February 28, 2000.
She is survived by one daughter, Bonnie and one grandson Kipp Williams. Two brothers, Wirt Hamrick and wife Judy of Boise, ID, William “Bill” Hamrick of Elkins, two sisters, Frances Crickard of Elkins and Susan Miller of MD also survive. Also preceding her in death was one brother, Arthur “Sonny” Hamrick.
Mary Jane was a Registered Nurse having retired from Reynolds Memorial Hospital in Glendale, WV after forty four years. She enjoyed quilting and cross stitching and was a member of the National Trail Stitchers and Fort Henry Peace Makers. She was also a member of the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A service will be held at 12:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Mountain State Memorial Gardens near Gilman. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements for Mary Jane Williams.
