Dennis W. McCauley 1947-2017 Obituary
Mr. Dennis W. McCauley, age 70 years, a resident of Montrose, WV, passed from this life Friday, September 8, 2017. He was born in Beverly, WV a son of the late Virgil and Rosa McCauley.
He is survived by his daughter, Shannon McCauley of Ephrata, PA; his son, J. Patrick Shane McCauley and daughter-in-law Cassie McCauley of Montrose; four grandsons, Brandon Armstead, Elkins, Joshua Armstead, Georgia, Cody McCauley and wife Katelyn of Elkins and Jacob McCauley of Montrose and one great granddaughter Alyssa Armstead of Elkins.
Dennis served honorably in the United States Navy for more than twenty-three years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. After retiring, he returned to West Virginia to start his ministry with Mountain Top Christian Assembly.
His request for cremation was honored. His expressed wish was not to have a funeral or memorial service but to have a remembrance gathering at a later date. The Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the cremation arrangements for Dennis W. McCauley.
