Ben Hunt presented a lot of articles on silversmithing, but used aluminum as the raw materials and called it aluminumsmithing
Aluminum is a lot cheaper to use than silver, so it was a good change
This is an interesting skill to teach, besides learning to work silver and aluminum, projects like this teach the student to be more self reliant, and when you see a new project, you can have the confidence to do the new project and learn new skills
W Ben Hunt created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle names, and published articles under all three name – Ben Hunt wrote 2-4 articles per month for Boy’s Life, and I think he created the Whittlin Jim and Lone Eagle to make is seem like there were multiple authors writing the articles
