I have started restoring my H500, I bought an early example about 10 years ago and its been setting on a shelf, waiting to be restored
I recently picked up 2 H500s in need of some serious work, I will use these for practice recovering and fixing the electronis, but they were purchased to be spare parts radios, although the original H500 isn’t really in that bad of shape
The end result of this effort will be 3 restored H500 models
