Penelope Dawn “Pel” Hebb, 3, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020, at the West Virginia Caring Hospice Center in Elkins following a long courageous battle with brain cancer that she was diagnosed with at the age of six months.
Pel was born Saturday, March 18, 2017, in Morgantown, a daughter of Elwood Lynn Hebb and Kayla Hebb of Elkins.
Also left to cherish her memory are grandparents, Margaret Hebb, Irwin and Wanda High, Bryan and Tammy Juilfs; seven siblings, Elwood “Junebug” Hebb Jr., Karissa, Kaylynn and Landon Hebb, Kylee Stima, Koloton Ford and Kamdyn Patterson; aunts, Allician Hebb and Amanda Robinson; uncle, Jason Collins and wife, Sheryl; and cousins, Kiley and Kaiden Hebb and Brayden Collins.
Pel was a beautiful and gentle soul. When she walked into the room, she lit it up with smiles and enjoyment. She was the star of the room. She was our “Princess Warrior.”
