Lewis James Lou Fortney Obituary 1958-2013
Lewis James “Lou” Fortney, 55, a resident of Elkins, departed this life Saturday afternoon, April 6, 2013, at his home.
He had been in in his usual health and death was attributed to cardiac arrest.
The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins from 5 to 8 p.m. today On Wednesday, April 10, Mr. Fortney will be moved to First United Methodist Church at Elkins where final rites will be conducted at 1:30 p.m.
The casket will remain closed in the church. The Rev. Barry R. Moll will officiate, and interment will follow in Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman.
The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the First United Methodist Church, 315 Kerens Ave., Elkins, WV 26241.
