Mary Kathleen Kathy Armentrout 1966-2002 Obituary
Mary Kathleen “Kathy” Armentrout, 36, a resident of 202 Ellis Ave., Elkins, passed away Saturday morning, Nov. 2, 2002, at her home. Death was attributed to breast cancer.
She was born June 17, 1966 at Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of Larry and Brenda Coriell, both of whom reside at Virginia, Beach, Va.
On May 17, 1986, she was married to Joseph Mitchell “Mitch” Armentrout, who survives in Elkins.
Also surviving are two daughters, Samantha Ashley and Tiffany Alexis Armentrout, both at home; three brothers, Randy Coriell and wife, Tammy, of Moyock, N.C., Michael Coriell and wife, Teresa, of Virginia Beach, Va., and Marty Green of Ironton, Ohio; one sister, Amanda Shepherd of Elkins; and four nieces, Holly and Michelle Coriell, both of Virginia Beach, Va., and Jessica and Stephanie Shepherd, both of Elkins.
Kathy owned and operated Delmarva Associated Services with her husband, Mitch. She was devoted to spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed photography, boating, decorating, writing, computers, motorcycles and playing the flute.
She was a member of the Elkins Church of God and Family Worship Center. Kathy will be sadly missed and remembered for being a very caring and loving person that made a difference in the many lives she touched.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be under the direction of the Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her husband, Mitchell, and daughters.
