Irma B. “Bunny” Harper, 88, of Amalia Drive, Buckhannon, died Monday, Dec. 2, 2002, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Extended Care.
She was born May 30, 1914, in Cleveland, a daughter of the late Robert Lewis and Goldie Dove Powers Anderson.
She married Coy Ordith Harper, who preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1971
Surviving are two sons, Robert E. Harper, Buckhannon, and Steven L. Harper, Rock Cave; one daughter, Phyllis H. Whitt, Fairmont; two brothers, Gene Anderson, Cleveland, and Paul Anderson, Staunton, Va.; two sisters, Iris Perrell, Woodstock, Va., and Helena, Baltimore, Md.; three grandsons, Jimmy Harper, Buckhannon, Steven Harper Jr. and Douglas Harper, both of Hastings, Mich.; four granddaughters, Dena Andrew, Buckhannon, Donna Hull, Pickens, Tina Harper-hull, Buckhannon, and Lisa Gonzales, Fairmont; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Rex Ordith Harper; two brothers, Dale Anderson and Don Anderson; and two sisters, Virginia Groves and Thelma Dever.
She was a homemaker and was a Baptist by faith.
Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home today from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Life Cemetery in Cleveland
