Martha Joann Andrews, 69, of Route 3, Bridgeport, died at 7 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2002, at Ruby Memorial Hosital.
She was born May 29, 1933, the daughter of Melvin Lane of Hacker Valley and the late Bertha Alice Lewis Lane.
Surviving in addition to her father is her daughter-in-law, Caroline Amelia Andrews, Aiken, S.C.; two grandchildren, Vanessa Lynn Loughry and husband, Gary, Newport News, Va., and Jesse George Andrews II, Aiken, S.C.; two sisters, Patricia Gum and husband, Clifford, Hacker Valley, and Jeanie Ware and husband, Shorty, Buckhannon; and several nieces and nephews.
One son, David Gene Andrews, is deceased.
Mrs. Andrews attended the Evangel Baptist Church in Bridgeport.
Friends will be received at the Robert M. Vincent Funeral Home in French Creek today from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Jeff Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the Rock Cave Cemetery.
