Pauline Virginia Moore, 82, a former resident of Kerens, and more recently a resident of Nella’s Inc. at Crystal Springs, departed this life at 3 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at the nursing home. She had been in declining health for the past several years.
She was born March 31, 1919, at Harding, a daughter of the late Ray Moore and Ida Myers Moore.
She had never married.
Surviving is one sister, Ida Ruth Harris, Kerens.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Elmer Ralph “Buddy” Moore, Ray Moore Jr., Elijah George Moore and an infant; and two sisters, Kathleen Moore Bonnett and Mary Lee Davis.
She attended the schools of Taylor County. She was a homemaker and a member of Elkins-randolph County Senior Center and Harts Chapel Church at Kerens.
Friends will be received at Lohr-barb-vance Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Final rites will be conducted at the funeral home chapel Friday at 11 a.m. The Rev. Don Jacko will officiate and interment will follow at Israel Cemetery at Kerens.
