Noel Calvin Gross, 62, of Beverly, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 19, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital following an extended illness.
Mr. Gross was born Sept. 12, 1939, in New Lexington, Ohio, a son of the late Sherman Franklin and Blanche Marie Gross.
He had never married.
Surviving are two sisters, Caroline Summerfield, Beverly, with whom he made his home, and Shirley Wilson, Belington; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Mr. Gross was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Elkins.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends may call at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins Thursday from noon until 1 p.m., the funeral hour, with the Rev. Vernard Tasker and B.R. Waybright officiating. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Church of God of Prophecy, Route 2, Box 225-5, Elkins, W.Va. 26241.
