Anna Belle Shea, 77, of Mill Creek, died Monday, Jan. 28, 2002, at 3:19 p.m. in the Davis Memorial Hospital, where she had been a patient since Jan. 4.
She was born Aug. 22, 1924, in Huttonsville, a daughter of the late Lewis and Effie Corbett Gear.
On Feb. 20, 1943, she married Richard Samuel Shea, who preceded her in death during World War II.
Mrs. Shea is survived by one sister, Mabel Anna Hammonds and husband, Tom, Mill Creek; and several nieces and nephews including JoEllen Denney of Elkins.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Eleanor Hammonds and Grace Van Pelt; and one brother, Edgar Gear.
Mrs. Shea was a homemaker and a Methodist by faith.
Funeral Arrangements: Funeral services will be conducted today at 1 p.m. from F.E. Runner Funeral Home Chapel in Elkins. The Rev. Frank Long, pastor of the Mill Creek Memorial Mission, will officiate. Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery in Huttonsville.
