Robert Lee Riggleman, 80, of 515 Davis St., Elkins, died at 3:15 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2002, at his home.
Mr. Riggleman was born June 22, 1921, in Valley Bend, a son of the late Adam and Russie Stalnaker Riggleman.
On Dec. 12, 1942, in Elkins, he married Pauline Scott Riggleman, who survives in Elkins.
Also surviving are a son, Robert Lynn Riggleman, Elkins; two daughters, Paula Epply, Elkins, and Katherine Arbaugh, Dailey; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Lewis “Skip” Riggleman; and a sister, Beula Currence.
Mr. Riggleman was employed as a heavy equipment operator for many years and was employed by the West Virginia Department of Highways for 30 years, where he retired as county superintendent.
Funeral Arrangements: Graveside services will be at Elkins Memorial Gardens Wednesday at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Walter H. Blough officiating. Interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Hospice, 1410 Crim Ave., Belington, W.Va. 26250. Tomblyn Funeral Home of Elkins is in charge of the arrangements.
