Jean J. Rearick, 65, of Ireland, and formerly of Harmony, Pa., died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2002, in Butler Memorial Hospital in Butler, Pa.
Mrs. Rearick was born Jan. 9, 1937, in Harmony, Pa., a daughter of the late LeRoy A. and Myrtle Isabella Goehring Lintz.
In June 1956, she married Howard D. Rearick, who survives in Ireland.
Also surviving are four sons, Daniel M. Rearick, Evans City, Pa., James T. Rearick, New Castle, Pa., David R. Rearick, North Augusta, S.C., and Dale R. Rearick, Baden, Pa.; three brothers, David L. Lintz, Butler, Pa., John W. Lintz, New Castle, Pa., and Gerald D. Lintz, Rochester, Pa.; two sisters, Mrs. George (Darlene) Keul, Ellwood City, Pa., and Mrs. Charles (Sandra Lee) Butler, Pittsburgh, Pa.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Janet Lintz and Elizabeth Lintz.
Mrs. Rearick was a retired nurse’s aid in Evergreen Nursing Home. She was a Jehovah’s Witness.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Alkire Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
