Fay Lucille Teets, 96, of 115 Camden Ave., Buckhannon, died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2002, in Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
Mrs. Teets was born May 6, 1905, in Oberlin, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harley and Mary Nolan Worchester.
On July 17, 1939, she married Woodrow Wilson Teets, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Jerry Teets, Warrenton, Va.; a daughter, Linda Gardner, Lyn Haven, Fla.; three grandsons, Guy Teets, Newport News, Va., Adam Gardner and Eric Gardner, both of Lyn Haven, Fla.; a granddaughter, Trisha Scruggs, Ft. Riley, Kan.; and three great-grandsons, Dustin Teets, Germany, and Aiden Scruggs and Cyrus Scruggs, both of Ft. Riley, Kan.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Myron Worchester and Door Worchester.
Mrs. Teets was a homemaker. She was a member of Frank B. Bartlett Post 7, American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and a member of Tennerton Homemakers Club. She attended Tennerton United Methodist Church.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends will be received at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Saturday at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Roger McCormick officiating. Interment will follow in Hampton Church Cemetery in Hampton.
