Dorothy E. Shaw, 80, of Bartow, Fla., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2002, in Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Fla.
Mrs. Shaw was born Feb. 19, 1921, in Evenwood.
She married Ivan D. Shaw, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Stephen D. Shaw, Eagle Lake, Fla., and David Shaw, Bartow, Fla.; two brothers, Arthur W. Moore, Lakeland, Fla., and Dale Moore, Altoona, Fla.; five sisters, Jean Taylor, Akron, Ohio, Kathleen Wilson, Spencer, Arjetta Piggott, Philippi, Judy Sparkman, Altoona, Fla., and Bonnie Gainer, Elkins; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Shaw was employed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture as an inspector for 20 years. She was a member of McLeod Memorial Presbyterian Church in Bartow.
Funeral Arrangements: Friends may call at Whidden-mcLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main St., Bartow, Fla., Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home chapel Friday at 10 a.m. with the Rev.
