Virginia Juanita Pernice 1915-2002 Obituary
Virginia Juanita Pernice, 86, of Orlando, Fla., formerly of 8 Shawnee Drive, Buckhannon, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Hospital East in Orlando, Fla.
She was born Aug. 8, 1915, at Curtain, the daughter of the late James Edward and Lena B. Daff Wooddell.
She was married to Daniel Joseph Pernice, who died on Dec. 19, 1975.
Surviving are one son, James Edward Pernice, Orlando, Fla.; one daughter, Mary Lou Juliano, Worthington, Mass.; four brothers, Lew Wooddell and James Wooddell, both of Louisville, Ohio, Eugene Wooddell, Rochester, Pa., and Bob Wooddell, Trenton, Fla.; five sisters, Bernice Barnette, Front Royal, Va., Genevieve Mearns, Lost Creek, Beulah Gay, Louisville, Ohio, Betty Butcher, Garrison, Minn., and Linda Bjornfon, Brainerd, Minn.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Three brothers are deceased.
Friends will be received at the Morris Funeral Home in Jane Lew Sunday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
