Paul H. Pennington, 84, of Potomac Park, died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2002, at Sacred Heart Hospital.
He was born Sept. 8, 1918, in West Virginia, a son of the late Sam and Getty Pennington.
Mr. Pennington was a retired auto mechanic in Virginia. He was a member of the Piedmont Church of God at Piedmont.
Surviving are his wife, Della Lee Pennington; one daughter, Lana June Pennington, Beaver Creek, Ohio; one stepdaughter, Alice Jean Shuck, Chester, Va.; one son, Hugh Pennington and wife, Linda, Kernersville, N.C.; one stepson, Edward B. Franchi, Richmond, Va.; one sister, Gladys Cosner, Mt. Storm; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends were received at Scarpelli Funeral Home in P.A., Cresaptown, Md. Friday and Saturday. Funeral services were conducted at the funeral home Saturday with Pastor Ada Kittle officiating. Interment followed in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
