Schyima N. Raines 1931-2002 Obituary
Schyima N. Raines, 71, of 22512 Village Road, Unionville, Va., and formerly of Thornwood, died Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital in Elkins.
She was born Oct. 26, 1931, at Goodells, Mich., a daughter of the late Conrad Johannes Lump and Ollie Ellison Lump.
She was twice married. First, she married Virgil R. Lambert, who preceded her in death in 1972. Second, she married Berlie Raines, who preceded her in death on May 5, 1980.
Surviving are four sons, Steven Lomp and Kile Lambert, both of Mill Creek, Virgil L. Lambert, Valley Bend, and Harlan Lambert, Unionville, Va., with whom she lived; one brother, Richard Lump, Port Huron, Mich.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Mrs. Raines was a homemaker. She was a Baptist by faith.
There will be no visitation or viewing. Graveside services will be at Lambert Cemetery at Elk Mountain near Cherry Grove Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Frank Stanley of Huttonsville officiating. Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
