George C. Robinson, 76, of PO Box 2333, Buckhannon, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2002, at Stonewall Jackson, Weston.
He was born Dec. 9, 1925, in Webster Springs, a son of the late Harley and Hattie Tharpe Robinson.
On Aug. 5, 1955, he married Madeline Champ Robinson, who survives, in Buckhannon.
Also surviving are one son, Thomas Robinson and wife, Sue, Buckhannon; one daughter, Terry Burch and husband, Jack, Tallmansville; one granddaughter, Richana Allman, Buckhannon; and three grandsons, Justin Burch and wife, Ashley, and Nicholas Burch, all of Tallmansville, and Tommy Hayes, Buckhannon.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Mazie Bush.
Mr. Robinson was a coal miner for Dex Car Queen Coal Co. He served in the Army during World War II.
He was a Methodist by faith.
