Alice Parks Campbell Poling, 65, a resident of Flemington, passed away at 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 27, 2002, in the United Hospital Center emergency room.
She was born July 24, 1937, in Barbour County, a daughter of the late Hercel Parks and Blanche Bartlett Peters.
She was twice married, first to Lonnie Campbell and second to Roy Poling.
Surviving are a companion of 20 years, Casto Funk, Morgantown; four daughters, Rosie Biggins, Grafton, Cathy Nichols, Florida, Peggy Campbell, Flemington, and Julie Campbell, Grafton; nine sons, Carl Campbell, Flemington, David Campbell, Simpson, Mark Campbell, Flemington, Jimmy Campbell, Fairmont, Jason Campbell, Clarksburg, Frank Campbell, Paul Campbell, Danny Campbell and Joey Campbell, all of Flemington; two sisters, Olive Sapp and Betty L. Jenkins, both of Flemington; two brothers, Charles Peters, Flemington, and Frankie Peters, Waynesburg, Pa.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Earl; two sisters and one brother.
She was a homemaker and a Pentecostal by faith.
Friends will be received at Wright Funeral Home, 216 N. Walnut St., Philippi, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Tim Bolyard officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.
