Thomas F. Howard, 87, a former resident of East Windsor, Conn., and a resident of Elkins since February of this year, passed away Monday morning, Sept. 30, 2002.
He was born Dec. 18, 1914, in New York City, a son of the late Martin and Agnes Howard.
He was married to Elsie Reusser Howard, who preceded him in death on Oct. 21, 2001.
He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn Schillinger Howard of Elkins; two grandsons, Brian Rosenberg and Mark Rosenberg and wife, Beth; and one great-grandson, Eric Rosenberg.
A service of thanksgiving for Mr. Howard’s life will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Pastor Jeff Falter will officiate and cremation will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Davis Memorial Presbyterian Church, 450 S. Randolph Ave., Elkins, W.Va. 26241 in memory of Mr. Howard
