Alfred Ray Shoop, 75, of Thomas, passed away Dec. 22, 2002, at Cortland Acres Nursing Home, Thomas.
He was born Sept. 10, 1927, in Magrand, Pa., a son of the late Raymond J. and Cleta Gertrude Geer Shoop.
He is survived by four sons, two daughters, two brothers, two sisters, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by Mabel Macklem; one son, two sisters and one grandchild.
Mr. Shoop was a retired security guard at Timberline.
At the request of the deceased, his remains were cremated. Hinkle Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
