Joyce Reed Smith, 83, of 1 Gilbert St., Buckhannon, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at 3:25 a.m. at her home in Buckhannon.
Mrs. Smith was born Aug. 16, 1918, at Buckhannon, a daughter of the late Asa and Regtha Long Reed.
She married Willard Smith, who preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 2002.
Surviving are one son, Brian R. Smith, Wayne, Pa.; one sister, Lois Reed Curtis, Buckhannon; and two granddaughters, Meredith Smith, Columbus, Ohio, and Rebecca Smith, Wayne, Pa.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Corwin Reed and John Reed; and one sister, Wanna Vincent.
She was the owner of Smith Mobile Home Sales in Bridgeport from 1950 to 1975. She attended Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.
A private family services was held Saturday at Poling-st. Clair Funeral Home with the Rev. Ed Hardman officiating.
