Lola Mae Austin Robinson, 66, of Valley Furnace community, Route 2, Philippi, died Thursday afternoon, July 11, 2002, at her home. She had been in declining health but her death was unexpected.
She was born Oct. 17, 1935, near the Shiloh community, the daughter of the late Bradford and Ida Myrtle Knight Loar.
On Oct. 10, 1957, she was married to Vincent Garnet Austin, who preceded her in death on Oct. 22, 1995. On Dec. 17, 1996, she was married to George W. Robinson, who survives at Valley Furnace community.
Also surviving are two stepsons, Randal Austin, Tucson, Ariz., and William Robinson, Brooklyn, Md.; four stepdaughters, Sheila White, Negreet, La., Sandie Orr, Tucson, Ariz., Terry Labrada and Vickie, both of Baltimore, Md.; several stepgrandchildren and several stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by one brother, Dorsey Loar, and by one stepdaughter, Liza Cappell.
Mrs. Robinson was a certified nursing assistant and was a member of the Shiloh Church of the Brethren.
Friends may call at the Stemple & Forman Funeral Home in Philippi from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., when Mrs. Robinson will be moved to the Shiloh Church of the Brethren where funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Garry Clem. Interment will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery.
