Frank D. Stotts, 51, a resident of Valley Head, passed away at 3:20 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2002, at his home.
He was born Feb. 21, 1951, in Charleston, the son of the late Frank D. Stotts Sr. and Janice Reed Stotts, who survives in Valley Head.
Also surviving are one brother, Steven Stotts, Statesville, N.C.; one niece, Taylor Allison Stotts, Statesville, N.C.; an uncle, James Reed, Barberton, Ohio; five aunts, Martha Reed, Valley Head, Mrs. Fred (Mary) Ware, Gorman, Md., Mrs. Roscoe (Polly) Holden, James Island, S.C., Mrs. Harold (Yvonne) Bennett, Radcliff, Ky., and Helen Harless, Fayetteville; and one great-aunt, Calla Lothery, Falls Church, Va.
Mr. Stotts was a graduate of Garinger High School in Charlotte, N.C., with the class of 1967. He received his master’s degree in business administration from Southern Methodist University and was employed as a travel agent for 20 years.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Valley Head Cemetery. The Rev. Robert Baer will officiate and interment will follow. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Care Corp., 629 North Ave., Elkins, W.Va., 26241. The Tomblyn Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
