evin Mark Scott, 45, a resident of the Georgetown Road, Elkins, departed this life at 4:50 p.m. Sunday, June 2, 2002, at Ruby Memorial Hospital at Morgantown. He had been in declining health for the past two years.
He was born Oct. 21, 1956, at Elkins, a son of the late Harry R. Scott and Lorraine Carder Scott.
He had never married.
Surviving are one brother, Patrick Scott, Elkins; three sisters, Susan S. Barb, Elkins, Mary Beth Scott-calour, Ashland, Ky., and Lisa Scott, Oakland, Md.; one stepbrother, Jim Stemple, Elkins; one stepsister, Ellen Stemple Shaw, Richmond, Va.; and his special companion, Billie McIntyre, Elkins.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Virginia Stemple Scott; one brother, Michael Jeffrey Scott; and one sister, Barrie Joan Scott.
He was a graduate of Elkins High School with the class of 1975. He was a self employed electrician, owning and operating Dare Electric at Point Harbor, N.C. He was an avid Harley Davidson enthusiast, was a charter member of the Brothers of the Wheel Motorcycle Club, Mountain Chapter. He was a member of Saint Brendan Catholic Church and was loved by many friends from coast to coast.
Cremation services were provided by Lohr & Barb Funeral Home. Friends will be received at Lohr & Barb Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Father Charles McCallister officiating.
