Maudie Ware, 93, a resident of Beverly, passed away Thursday morning, April 18, 2002, in Davis Memorial Hospital.
She was born Feb. 5, 1909, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Robert E. Lee Chenoweth and the late Grace Kyle Chenoweth.
Surviving are one son, Duane Ware, Beverly; two sisters, Catherine Collett and Emma Simmons, both of Elkins; one grandson, Charlie Marstiller of Beverly; one granddaughter, Debbie Pierce of Cleveland, Ohio; and four great-grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were several brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Ware attended the schools of Randolph County and was a homemaker.
Friends may call from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Bryan Headley officiating. Interment will follow in Elkins Memorial Gardens.
